HAZLETT CHRISTINE LORRAINE HAZLETT (Age 55) Of Alexandria, VA, died on Monday, June 22, 2009, at her home, ending a 14 month battle with esophageal cancer. She is survived by her husband, Stuart Hazlett; and two children, Neil (Magda) Rolfes, Arlington, VA, and Danielle Rolfes, Washington, D.C. She was born December 1, 1953, to Chester and Joanne Hoselton Dammeyer, who survive in St. Marys, OH. Other survivors include a sister, Nancy Morgan, Denver, CO.; two brothers, Terry (Shawna) Dammeyer, Cincinnati, OH and Nicholas (Carolyn) Dammeyer, Celina, OH. Christine was a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose energy lit up every room she entered. She was a 22 year civil servant who supported the US Air Force for 21 years in multiple contracting and leadership positions. At time of death, she was the Deputy Director of Contracting at the Missile Defense Agency, Washington, DC. Christine graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School, received a Bachelor of Education and MBA from Wright State University, and an MSA from the Industrial College of Armed Forces. Christine received numerous awards and recognition during her career including the Secretary of the Air Force Professionalism in Contracting Award.
